Seth Green

If you've gone to the movies or watched television in the last twenty years, you already know Seth Green's work. Green was named the Best TV Actor by Entertainment Weekly magazine and E! Entertainment Television's poll proclaimed him the hottest young actor in Hollywood. Green will soon be seen in Without A Paddle with Scooby co-star Matthew Lillard.

Green was in theatres frequently last year. He portrayed a technological genius in The Italian Job, and he narrated and starred in the indie flick Party Monster, the true story of New York club kid-turned-murderer Michael Alig. Green won rave reviews for these performances and for his starring roles in Knockaround Guys, Can't Hardly Wait and his roles in America's Sweethearts, Rat Race and all three Austin Powers films.

Aside from Green's films and accolades, he's reached the pinnacle of showbiz success in a more tangible format three action figures have been made in his likeness by the industry's top toymakers.

Green has worked almost non-stop since he began in the business. He was born on February 8, 1974 in Philadelphia and began acting at the age of seven. He traded quips with Carson on The Tonight Show and he starred in David Mamet's American Buffalo. At eight, Green landed his first film assignment; a co-starring role in Hotel: New Hampshire with Jodie Foster and Rob Lowe. At twelve, Green auditioned for Woody Allen and wound up with the leading role in Radio Days. Green soon had roles in several feature films beginning with Big Business, My Stepmother is an Alien, Can't Buy Me Love and many others. Green was a series regular as the son in ABC's Good and Evil and Byrds of Paradise, and CBS' Temporarily Yours.

On television, Green is known as Oz from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Originally just a guest starring role, three episodes turned into ten and Green became a regular cast member of the show in 1998. In Fox's animated primetime series Family Guy, Green played the teenage son in a very dysfunctional family for three seasons. In 2001, Green and his partner Matthew Senreich debuted their series Sweet J Presents on Sony's Screenblast. Green was lured back to television to play Jimmy Bender, the best friend to the title character, a puppet or fabricated American in Fox's Greg the Bunny. Since then, Green has taken on some television guest spots between film assignments.
