Skylar Astin makes his screen debut in Hamlet 2. While still a New York University student, in the Tisch School of the Arts' prestigious musical theatre program Collaborative Arts Project 21 (CAP 21), he was chosen to originate the role of Georg in the groundbreaking stage musical Spring Awakening. The off-Broadway run of the show soon led to Broadway, and eight Tony Awards including Best Musical.

Mr. Astin continues to star in the Broadway production and can also be heard performing on the Grammy Award-winning (for Best Musical Show Album) soundtrack CD.
