Ahmed Ahmed
Ahmed recently completed work on a trio of films including the Warner Bros. comedy FRED CLAUS, Marvel Studios' IRON MAN starring Robert Downey Jr. and the Adam Sandler comedy DON'T MESS WITH THE ZOHAN.
His other film and television credits include THE BREAK-UP, THE ONION MOVIE, EXECUTIVE DECISION, SWINGERS, Tracey Takes On, Roseanne, JAG, Comedy Central's Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and MTV's PUNK'D. He has also appeared on CNN, The View, and NPR, and was featured on the front page of The Wall Street Journal and in Newsweek. He is also featured on the FAHRENHEIT 9/11 DVD bonus track performing stand-up comedy.
Ahmed is a regular performer at the world-famous Comedy Store in Los Angeles and tours internationally across the U.S., Europe and the Middle East. He is currently performing in the highly acclaimed Axis of Evil comedy tour. He was honored with the first annual Richard Pryor Award for ethnic comedy at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival in Scotland in the summer of 2004.
Ahmed currently resides in Los Angeles and has written an original screenplay titled THE PILGRIMAGE based on his Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).
