John Robinson

John Robinson (born November 11, 1908 in Liverpool, England, UK; died March 6, 1979 in London, England, UK) was a British actor. He appeared in a variety of roles in film and on television, in the latter appearing in some very early 1930s productions such as Val Gielgud's 1939 play Ending It on BBC Television. He is best known, however, for his role as Professor Bernard Quatermass in Quatermass II (1955), also for the BBC. He died of cancer.
