Bill Hayes (born June 5, 1925) has played Doug Williams on the American soap opera Days of Our Lives from 1970 to 1984, then from 1986 to 1987, and in 1993 and 1996. He returned again in 1999, only to have his character killed off in the spring of 2004. In an elaborate plot hatched by writer James E. Reilly, he has turned up alive on a tropical island.
He has been married to fellow Days of Our Lives co-star Susan Seaforth since 1974.
