Jon Hamm

Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Jon Hamm studied acting on a theatre scholarship at the University of Missouri where he starred in and won several awards for his performances in Assasins and Joe Turner's Come and Gone.

Since coming to Hollywood, Hamm has quickly established himself as a serious working actor on both the large and small screens.

Hamm has appeared in the feature films We Were Soldiers, with Mel Gibson; the independent award-winning film Kissing Jessica Stein; and Space Cowboys, directed by and starring Clint Eastwood.

In 2000 and 2001, Hamm had a recurring role on the NBC drama Providence as firefighter Burt Ridley.

Hamm resides in Los Angeles and is an avid golfer.
