Aiden Gillen
Gillen shot to fame as the arrogant good-time boy Stuart in Channel 4's acclaimed and controversial gay series Queer As Folk. His television credits also include Antonia Bird's Safe (BBC), An Ungentlemanly Act (Union Pictures), Killing Time (BBC), A View Of Harry Clark (BBC) and Debs (Channel 4). On film, Gillen has starred in Mark Hanlon's Buddy Boy, Jez Butterworth's film version of his stage play Mojo, Gold In The Streets, Some Mother's Son, opposite Helen Mirren, Circle Of Friends and The Lonely Passion Of Judith Hearne. On the stage, Gillen has starred in the Royal Court production of Butterworth's Mojo, the Almeida Theatre production of Marvin's Room and Lover's Meeting with the Druid Theatre Co, at the Hampstead Theatre and at Dublin's Abbey Theatre.
