Joshua Ackerman is a Denver native who got his start in show business at the age of 11 as a star of The New Mickey Mouse Club. After performing for seven straight seasons on the series, he took a hiatus from acting to attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he graduated with a BFA in Film and Television. Upon completion of his studies, Ackerman moved to Los Angeles to renew his pursuit of acting.

Over the past two years, he has appeared in films such as Evolution, Pearl Harbor, The Painting, and American Chai, set for a Spring 2002 release.

When not working, Ackerman enjoys hiking, running, outdoor sports, writing and reading.
