Ron Lester

A small-town boy born and raised in Kennesaw, Ga., Lester performed in numerous stage productions while growing up, including Oliver Twist, West Side Story, Babes In Toyland and Music Machine. His professional career was launched when a friend asked him to come to Atlanta to be an extra in a Formula 409 commercial. The director was so impressed with his innate acting ability that Lester was upgraded to a featured role in this national commercial. Soon thereafter, his onscreen charisma got him advanced from an extra to a featured performer in a music video for the band Little Texas.

With his newly found success, Lester moved out West and started performing stand-up at comedy clubs around town including The Laugh Factory, Melrose Improv, Punchline and The Ice House. His first feature film audition was for the feature film comedy Goodburger and he landed the part.

Most recently, Lester was seen as Billy Bob in the coming-of-age movie Varsity Blues with James Van Der Beek. His other film credits include Dill Scallion with Jason Priestley, Love in the Loo, and Howl at the Moon. Lester has also made recurring appearances on the television series All That.

When not working, Lester enjoys spending time with friends and keeping in touch with his mom, who still lives in Georgia. He is the self-proclaimed Jay Leno of die-cast metal car collecting, with over 200 in his prized collection. He also contributes his time and energy to numerous charities associated with children and Native Americans.
