Brian Doyle-Murray

Brian Doyle-Murray is a preeminent character actor whose numerous memorable performances include his portrayal of Jack Ruby in Oliver Stone's epic JFK and the Mayor in the hit comedy Groundhog Day. His long list of feature film credits include Bedazzled, Waiting For Guffman, Drowning Mona, Wayne's World, Ghostbusters II, Cabin Boy, and Caddyshack, which he also co-wrote.

Doyle-Murray began his career in the late sixties as a founding member of Chicago's Second City comedy troupe, with Dan Aykroyd, Gilda Radner and Joe Flaherty. In the mid-seventies he moved to New York and went on to perform with John Belushi and several of the Second City alumni in the National Lampoon Radio Hour and live show. A natural progression found Doyle-Murray writing and performing for Saturday Night Live in the late seventies and early eighties. He was nominated for an Emmy for his writing on the show.
