Susan Flannery (born July 31, 1943) is an American soap opera actress. She was born in Jersey City, New Jersey.
She is best known for playing Laura Spencer Horton on Days of Our Lives from 1966 to 1975 and now for playing Stephanie Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful from 1987 onwards; she still plays the role today.
A big rumor that has taken flight with the advent of message boards is that Miss Flannery is a lesbian. Supposedly, she is out in real life, and best friends with another rumored homosexual, Ian Buchanan, her former co-star on The Bold and the Beautiful.
